We recently held a campus coding competition using CodeMonkey, where students had 10 minutes to complete as many lessons as possible. Each completed lesson earned 3 points, and the top three highest-scoring students advanced to compete at the district level.

Ligarde Elementary will be hosting an Open House on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 from 8:30–11:00 a.m. and 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Parents and guardians are invited to visit classrooms and see their children in action as they learn and grow. We look forward to celebrating education together!

The Laredo Independent School District in partnership with the City of Laredo Health Department will be offering flu vaccines at no cost for LISD students who are eligible under the Texas Vaccine for Children (TVFC)* requirements.The flu vaccine clinics are scheduled through October.
